It's beginning to look alot like Christmas...

Well, maybe I wouldn't go that far. Here in Doha, it's not quite like back home where around this time anywhere and everywhere you go, you are constantly reminded that Christmas is around the corner. And you definitely won't be hearing any Christmas music at the malls! But at least at our house the lights are lit:


and the stockings are hung:


I actually found these cute stockings here in Doha and was very happy to find them just in time for the great feast of St. Nicholas which is this Thursday, the 6th of December! I found a wonderful website where I read this story to Enriquito, since this will be the first year that he can somewhat understand the whole Santa Claus phenomenon! We will have a big celebration that day in honor of the great Saint and Enriquito has already chosen some of his most treasured toys (his Lighting McQueen cars) to give to the children that do not have any toys! (the same way St. Nicholas did as a child!) Big fun is just around the corner!
