Boys...

Gerardito woke up this afternoon crying, calling for me from his afternoon nap....so I went upstairs to see what was going on...I turned the light on and he just laid back down..I realized he wasn't quite ready to wake up..so I laid down with him and he immediately drifted back to sleep. That's when Enriquito came upstairs because I am sure he assumed his brother was up and ready to play. When he walked in the room, I signaled him that Gerardito had fallen back asleep (or so I thought) and to not disturb him. Well, Enriquito quietly climbed into bed to see for himself...

He whispered, "Palito??" ..to which Gerardito open his eyes..
And then Enriqutio continued, offering him a toy rifle that he had created out of some blocks, "Quieres matar venados conmigo??"

To which Gerardito quickly responded, "Si" and they both hurried off the bed to begin their hunting adventure.

And I was left behind on the bed thinking...Boys....I am definitely the mother of BOYS!
