The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look kindly upon you and give you His peace!

Family Christmas Tree

This year I thought it would be fun to make our own Christmas ornaments since in years past we have always just used store-bought ornaments. I thought it would be a fun family project and it was exactly just that... At first I wasn't sure what kind of ornaments to make and then it occurred to me that since we can't be with our family for Christmas it would be great to have them with us...on our tree!! So we made everyone's name and decorated them...All of the ornaments are baked (though not edible) and we tried to personalize every name to fit the personality of the individual...Hope you enjoy your name!!

Starting off at the very top of course we have the star of Bethlehem along with the Holy Family (JesusMaryandJoseph) JMJ accompanied by a couple of angels..

Next in line we have Papi decorated with a picturesque mountain scene...

Here's me..some flowers and a rosary....

Wuchis (Enriquito's beloved nickname) decorated with some of the activities he likes..t-ball, learning, playing at the park, tractors cars and trains, legos, and a bike without training wheels!

Up next is Gerardito (Palito) done up with some of his favorite animals (the elephant is his favorite)

Fernandito was way too long so we had to come up with this little guy's nickname which you see below...Gordis (little chubby one)...and the day we decorated his he happened to be wearing an outfit that was striped just like this...and then Enrique decided to put the Qatar flag on there (since he was born here) though we are not quite sure if that is actually the flag and my beloved was too lazy to look it up..we are still not sure if that is actually a correct depiction of the Qatar flag...I'm sure you good folks will look it up and let me know.

Up next we have Granpa...who used to be Tito, but the name was officially changed this summer..anyone who knows my dad knows he love cows....check out the one on top of the "N"

Papa Grande..by far the longest name on the tree...for him, it's all about the size..it just about wraps around the whole tree! I feel like he's holding us all up!

Tita...sweet and gentle

Ma-ita ...short for Mama Clarita..if you go into her home there is always a candle lit..and if you want to give her a gift, you can never go wrong by giving her a candle...

Fernando (Fete).... two more years, and I'll be calling my brother, Father!! (God-willing)

Adan...he hunts so much I thought he would be good in camo...

Krystal..poor gal is married to a man that hunts so much she can't help but have camo too!!

Clarissa...princess, black belt, doctor..nuff said

Jesse.. Tae Kwon Do Master...depicted by every color belt (well maybe not every color) but you get the picture!

Gerardo...not sure how he ended up as Lalo...I would have liked to have drawn a computer to symbolize the electronic guru that he is, but I can't draw..so he'll have to settle for this simple yet masculine depiction of his name..

Roxy...the picture says it all..

And last but not least, the littlest, sweetest and newest addition to our blessed family...

And here you all are on our tree..where we can gaze often and be reminded how truly blessed we are to have you in our lives....

We love you, we miss you, but soon we'll be home...and what a sweet day that will be!!!
